CAROL & HAYES JENKINS SCHOLARSHIP FUND
The annual Carol & Hayes Jenkins Scholarship grant application opens May 1st each year. The $2500.00 grant will be awarded to a local skater who has excelled in athletic and academic achievements, and who is graduating from high school with plans to attend college in the next six months.

The scholarship grant application can be found at Awards & Grants – Cleveland Championships (cc2000.org) . Applicants must be a current member of a figure skating club associated with the Greater Cleveland Council of Figure Skating Clubs. Applications are due at the end of May each year.

Carol Heiss Jenkins competed in Ladies singles, becoming the 1956 Olympic silver medalist, 1960 Olympic champion, five-time World champion, and four-time U.S. National Champion. During this unprecedented winning streak, Carol attended New York University. Hayes Jenkins competed in Men’s singles, becoming the 1956 Olympic champion, four-time World champion, and four-time U.S. National champion. Hayes attended Colorado College and Harvard Law School.
