WFSC Holiday Skating Exhibition 2025
Join us on Sunday, December 14, 2025 from 3:00–5:00 PM on Rink 2 for an afternoon of performances, community, and holiday fun! ⛸️✨
This year’s show is open to Home Club members, Associate members, and Winterhurst Learn to Skate skaters. LTS coaches—if your class wants to perform a group number, we’d love to have you join the fun!
🎄 Registration opens Monday, November 3rd!
Sign-up sheets will be with the ice monitors.
Deadline to sign up is Thursday, December 4th.
🎶 Skaters may choose their own music (Holiday music encouraged!) and will receive instructions on where to send digital files. Music is first come, first served to avoid duplicates.
💸 Cost: $20 per number (group numbers can split the fee).
🎟 Admission: FREE! Bring your family, friends, teachers, and neighbors—seating is limited on Rink 2.

Winterhurst is excited to announce the addition of Aspire Clinics to our summer program on select Fridays for Basic 6 skaters and up!
What to Expect:

15 minutes of off-ice warm-up (12:30-12:45pm)

1 hour of skating time (12:50-1:50)
What to Bring:
-
Tennis shoes & water bottle

$25 for the class
-
**Includes fee for coaches, ice time, and ballet room

Skaters will be able to work on their skating skills, jumps, edges, power, and spins during this shared Freestyle session.

Skate Cleveland
at Winterhurst
Sept. 20-22, 2024
Skate Cleveland 2024 was selected to be part of the National Qualifying Series (NQS) and took place from September 20-22, 2024. This is exciting news as skaters attending from all over the country had the opportunity to qualify for a spot at Sectionals at Skate Cleveland. Final Results can be found in the links below.
The Winterhurst Ice Arena will be closed April 28th-June 16th for upgrades. Our summer program will start on Monday June 17th. Information on summer classes will be provided soon.

APRIL 2024
Freestyle Sessions are available to WFSC members and out of club skaters.
All rink ice purchases are paid in person at the front desk.
The cost is $18 per hour or $10 per half hour.
WFSC ice purchases can be made online or in person with the ice monitors. Walk-on ice for WFSC members is $16 an hour or $8 per half hour.
Walk-on for non-WFSC members is $20 per hour or $10 per half hour.
FREESTYLE SCHEDULE
Freestyle sessions are available to WFSC members and out of club skaters.
Rink ice is purchased through Lakewood Community Ice (new management for Winterhurst Ice Arena).

AIT SEMINAR
We are excited to announce our next upcoming AIT Cleveland Fall Seminar on Sunday, November 16 - 9:00am - 10:30am at Winterhurst Ice Arena!
Join AIT Cleveland Director Elizabeth Mission and AIT Cleveland Professional Company members Corey Carbone and Vee Harmon for a morning of edge exercises, including 6 Ways of the SpineTM as well as ways to improve our flow and balance, while having some creative fun! We will end the seminar with a choreographic combo.
All registrations ($45) are due by Friday November 14. This AIT Seminar is for skaters ages 8+ and level Freeskate 1+ -- ALL are welcome!
Coaches are invited to attend for FREE! (If you are a coach, please fill out the registration form and click the box to indicate you are a coaching professional).

Special Spring 1 Promotion
Sign up for Spring 1 session and receive up to 2 discount coupons per week to skate on designated club ice sessions. Cost per 30-minute session is $5.00 (regular cost is $8.00)! Coupons provided by your LTS coach! All LTS participating skaters are eligible.
Freestyle Sessions are available to WFSC members and out of club skaters.
All ice purchases are online only and can be made up to the start of a session.
NOTE: Winterhurst has scheduled yearly Ice Maintenance
May 22-June 6. There will be no ice available during this time.
The rink will open on Wednesday June 7th for the summer.
WFSC doesn't rent ice during the summer. Please Purchase Rink Ice.

SIGN IN PROCESS FOR RINK ICE:
All Rink Ice purchases must be made by 6:00 p.m. the day before you plan to skate. The front desk will post the rink ice schedule each day. Please initial next to your name before getting on the ice.
No walk-ons will be permitted during rink ice sessions.

The Graduating Senior Award is back! Applications for the Class of 2024 will open on Sept. 1, 2023.
Recognize this year's seniors at WFSC for their numerous skating accomplishments throughout high school. Skaters who have taken one skating skills test up through senior-level international competitors are all eligible to receive one of this award’s four distinctions: bronze, silver, gold or platinum.
